AAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!

I drew this a couple of days ago for some of my co-worker friends. Who knew it was prophetic for the events that took place yesterday? Milk-throwing, finger-flipping, face-punching, name-calling, to-the-office-marching, parents screaming... What a day!

Such can be expected of the youth in a society like ours. But that's the very reason that we subject ourselves to such torture-to make a difference in the lives of the future. It doesn't always feel like it's worth it; but if we hang in there it will be worth all the struggles we've had to endure. I know it will be.

No matter your job or your reasons for being there, and no matter how bad the day is, it could have gone worse. I know it's hard, but try to remain grateful for employment. Thank God that no one came to your office with a gun today and took you from your family. Thank God that you are well enough, both mentally and physically, to do your job; because many are not able.

In all the things we don't like about life, if we try hard enough, we can find something good and something to smile about.

NanoWriMo!!!

Today's the first day of National Novel Writing Month! I've been waiting for so long; but earllier today I had to reevaluate such an undertaking. It won't be easy trying to fit 1,700 words into my already overbooked days. But it may actually be what I need to nudge me over the edge of "almost-nevelist" into the plain of "actual-novelist."

So, I'm taking this head-on. I know it won't be easy. But most wonderful things usually aren't.
