I love a challenge. It's uplifting to prove (especially to myself) my ability to overcome. I'd suggest this for anyone who's bored, not feeling good about themselves, or feeling the traces of an oncoming let-down. And the smartest way to do it with the greatest amount of emotional padding is to choose a challenge for which there is no right or wrong answer.
An absolutely fantastic and entertaining opprtunity to do just that is to participate in a creative challenge. Also called creative memes, memes, artistic memes, etc., the point is to creatively respond to some simple peoposition that requires the use of creativity. The Internet is strewn with them, and no matter what your artistic or creative comfort zone (stick people are awesome!!!), they are usually quite simple and a gush of fun!

This cupcake is my response to a challange by Illustration Fridays, perhaps one of my favorite creative challenges to-date. Every Friday, a new topic word is given. It's then up to participaants to illustrate that word in any medium they choose (again, stick-people friendly). Last Friday's word was "cake."
If drawing is not your forte, you could cut out a picture of a cake and build a collage, or construct something entirely digital.
This really is an excellent way to create something tangible and personal, yet partake in something larger. No matter the challenge you choose, you can express it in a way that will be meaningful and entertaining to you. Good luck!!!
